Hotel Lydmar in Stockholm is yet another project where we have assisted the Architectural company Stylt Trampoli with the textile part of their design. The result is incredibly successful, Lydmar has gone from being a shabby office building to a water hole for people in Stockholm. They love to sit in the restaurant that is decorated in a combination of living room and library.
The rooms have been carefully renovated to retain the house’s soul from 1829 when the Lydmar Hotel or Edelstamska huset as it was called at the time was built.
The hotel opened its doors October 6, 2008 and has been owned since 2013 by the Grand Hôtel.
2009 they where awarded the prize for the best renovation of Stockholms master builders Association and the remodeling was awarded the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce urban enviromental price.
